Black screen for BIOS, monitor won't handshake with graphics card?

So, I have a X570 TUF Gaming WiFi with a RX 5500 XT graphics card. It's a vanilla AMD install. I upgraded monitors and I'm running a 2560x1440 and a 3440x1440. Everything is doing well. I tried to go into BIOS, I get the splashscreen with the 'press F2 or delete to enter BIOS'. But, when I do...

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

That would be great, is there a day/time that they're likely to do the drops? It seems that they could do a pre-order system instead of having a weekly server architecture test by having everyone refreshing pages at the same time.

Since you've all found a way to get one, any clues as to where to pick up a 6800xt?

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

So, willfully obtuse it is. If you recall, this all started with a reply to you saying 'IMO, it makes no sense for any company, rich or poor, to support products they don't sell.' And now you post the list of compliant video solutions that apple supports. Meaning, apple supports the...

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

Look, I don't know if you're being willfully obtuse or not... Apple sold macs. They sold them with system software and design it to be compatible with published standards. They support their device and software to be compatible with other people's things. Like a hard drive, or a ram dimm. Or...

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

That's the point. Apple sells a computer that they make compatible with third party apps because it makes people want to buy their computer. Companies make their things compatible with other peoples things because it lets them sell more things.

they're not supporting other company products, they're supporting their own product to be compatible with standards that allow it to interact with other company products. that's like saying they you don't know that apple sells computers that use software from other companies.

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

I don't see a preorder option-it would beat the hell out of flying to china if I could find one. Edit-good news, I have an account, unfortunately its with American Medical Devices. If anyone has an idea how I can get one with the graphics card AMD I'd be happy to hear.

Yes, but can anyone help me find a place to get a 6800xt so I can fail at making OSX run on it, too?

Apple Announces "3rd Transition" for macOS: From Intel CPUs to Apple Silicon

So, I'm running an older hack, still on 10.13.6 because of my nvidia graphics card. Been planning a new machine, probably going to try an opencore AMD system once Zen3 comes out. And even with the update from apple on moving to Apple Silicon I'm still going to do it. First, because its fun to...

macOS Mojave To Be Released September 24, 2018

Do any of you know if you can install Mojave directly over Sierra? I've skipped High Sierra so far, but might be cornered into upgrading, was thinking of just skipping High Sierra since we're late in the game here.
