You do not have to use the EQ, that is only one of its features.

Try a program called Boost. It also gives you overall EQ capabilities throughout your mac as a whole.

I'm running an i7-2700K, overclocked at 4.5GHz using an edited SSDT.aml, with Chimera 1.9.1. The "Hyperactive" parallels stopped and is running normal now, but the About This Mac only reads 3.49GHz and Geekbench reads 3.50GHz. How can I get it to read 4.3GHz?

The only ports that I am concerned about are digital so that I can get 5.1 surround sound. And I have read that post and a few others and everyone keeps talking about the card working, but not a single person has mentioned once whether they were able to get the SPDIF optical out to work. lol

Did anyone get this card to work? Especially the SPDIF surround sound features?
