Oh alright. I asked that because I read on this thread that newer BIOS versions (such as F9I) may not be compatible with TB3 HotPlug. In any case I'll let you know if I can succeed with the TBTFlash.exe, otherwise I'll try the SPI Flasher way.
Eventually can you please send me the latest...
Definitely not. I don't have anymore the TR2.0 (when I wrote a few mins about it, I was confirming that TBTFlash.exe worked) but the bus was activated as I could see the devices connected
I wanna point out that I repeated the same procedure with a original Titan Ridge 2.0 card and the flash worked, therefore I have no idea on why it doesn't work this time... I think the F9I BIOS is the culprit. Eventually what's the BIOS version I should flash to make the TB3 work?
Well to be fair TBTFlash.exe asked for the custom firmware, so I simply uploaded the modified firmware and it flashed the fw. Don't know if anything else is required
Hi there, I'm having issues with the TB3 bus activation. The mobo is a Z390 Designare with BIOS F9I. Is it reported to be working? Eventually what should I do? I flashed the TB3 card using the TBTFlash.exe tool with the NVM67-CASEYSJ.bin firmware
To be fair I don't directly own those components .
Regarding the BIOS settings the one that Dortania suggest are fine, except for the DVMT Pre-allocated which should be 128MB rather than 64MB.
If you wanna enable the Type-C port you should tell me what's the header you're using in the...
Ae
Aye nice.
Just to point out, NVMeFix didn't made you detect the NVMe in OpenCore. This is a kext, not a UEFI driver, and it fixes power management on macOS . I'm pretty sure that disabling HideAuxiliary as well as configuring APFS MinDate and MinVersion and having HfsPlus.efi did the job...
Hi there,
please check your ScanPolicy value (usually is 0) and check MinDate and MinVersion in config.plist/UEFI/APFS. Starting from OpenCore 0.7.2, if you're not running Big Sur you can't detect previous macOS APFS disks. The only way to do it is chaning the MinDate and MinVersion values to...
