The EFI folder has gained weight with all the Intel Ethernet and Bluetooth ROM stuff. Maybe we need a light version for all the folks that don't use the item stuff. I understand the the appeal of the one size fits all approach but carrying all that dead weight is gumming up the upgrade process.
Recently updated to Monterey and had the same issue after long sleep. USBwakefixup.kext was the culprit. This kext fixes the black screen after wake issue but also munges the BT on Monterey. Try removing it. The side effect is that you will have to tap your mouse or keyboard twice on wake. The...

The file linked above identifies itself as hackindrom 2.0 under "about" Also in the zapato/public directory is labeled as hackindrom 2.0.0 For me n Catalina it quits shortly after launch.
I also experienced inability to wake with puTscSync. I get a hang on wake with kernel stack corruption. Disabling the kext seems to get everything working again.
Here, here! I have been updating using a text editor after trying OCC and having it screw up my config. But this time I gave HackinDROM a go. I was surprised at how easy it was and pleased that it didn't mangle my non standard config. Thank you @Inqnuam for maintaining this brilliantly simple...
When you have a chance could you post your Geekbench metal/opencl scores? And if you use resolve could you post your resolve "Candle Bench" score? Thanks!
Do you notice better performance with the 6900? I'm tempted to trade up my RVII while the market is high assuming I can actually find a 6900. I know it benches higher but I haven't seen any reports of benefits in real world use yet.
shikigva=80 helps with copy protection stuff. igfxfw=2 is a flag to allow firmware updates to the intel integrated graphics. Neither are necessary for RVII but may be useful. gdpmod=pikera is toxic on RVII and may cause boot failure.
Anyone tried this yet? Any benches comparing it to previous versions. Seen some reports that security patches in the new microcode actually lower performance. I'm still using an older bios (9b?) but I'm satisfied with performance and stability. What is the advantage of updating to this one or...
