Turning PSU off and back on again seems to have fixed the Bluetooth issue. Seems to work now.
For Thunderbolt the System Information says: "Thunderbolt: No drivers are loaded."
The output file of IORegistryExplorer is attached.
Thanks Jay! The cable arrived and I plugged it in. :headbang: What do I have to set the option 'Initial Display Output' in BIOS to? To IGFX because the monitor is connected to the motherboard via DP IN or PCIe 1 where the Vega64 is installed?
And sorry where does @CaseySJ in that thread link to...
Thanks @jaymonkey, that sounds great!
But there is only a Displayport to Thunderbolt (or Mini Displayport) cable included with the motherboard, as shown here: https://hothardware.com/ContentImages/Article/2820/content/big_accessories2.jpg.ashx?maxwidth=1170&maxheight=1170
So do I just need to...
Hi there,
just got a new LG UltraFine 4K monitor from Apple's website, and I want to connect it to my Hackintosh. I've got a Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 Nitro+ 8GB HBM2 GPU installed. But it only has DisplayPort 1.4 ports but no Thunderbolt 3 port. So, currently I'm only able to connect this...
Same issue here – also I'm getting a weird wrong positioned video output (at the top left with a large black space on its right) in the playback monitor after applying warp stabilizer to a scaled clip in Premiere.
Have the same problem with the Fenvi FV-T919 card. It requires the Front Panel USB header to be available, but I already connected the intended cable for the front panel USB ports to it. So you advise to put a splitter in between? Won't there be any issues then with bandwidth or similar things...
I reset the CMOS as stated in the manual. It went through two boot cycles as you described. Now that boot problem seems to have gone. Found out what the problem was. I enabled ErP before, because not all LEDs went out after shutting down the Hackintosh and found out that this setting must be the...
Will this reset all of the settings I did in BIOS following your tutorial so that I do have to do that again?
With not unplugging the power cord before touching the pins I'm not sure for safety reasons. Manual says explicitly to remove the power cord before. In my opinion I also better would...
Asked this question in a hardware chat and they said, it might usually be "a sign that the BIOS/EFI read something from CMOS that it didn't agree with so temporarily sets defaults and does a soft-restart". As a fix I should load defaults in BIOS and save them to CMOS. Then the soft-restart...
Checked it again, goes as following after pushing the power on button:
CPU LED on -> DRAM LED on -> CPU LED on -> Fans go off (Designare label on the motehrboard stays illuminated) -> all four LEDs go on after each other (CPU, DRAM, VGA, BOOT, guess its the checking you mentioned) -> all LEDs...
When I power up my Hackintosh, the fans together with the entire mainboard setup start to spin up at full speed for a second then turn off and back on again. Afterwards the computer boots fine. What could be the reason for this issue?
Okay. In the components section, you wrote about the "Fenvi FV-T919". Do you recommend this currently or is there better choice out there with one of the mentioned Broadcom cards? That said I'm a beginner with hackintoshes....
Not sure, if I should buy either the BCM94360CD, BCM943602CS or...
