SUCCESSFUL Yosemite Install with ASUS GTX 750 Ti - but with HDMI not working on NVIDIA Web Drivers 3

So let me get this straight. You have an ASUS 750 Ti which is NOT Strix and it works natively? Thanks for your VBIOS. I'll do some testing with it. But for now, tell me the exact name and model of your card and give me a link to your product on the ASUS Website. Also, what is your VBIOS...

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.0 (343.01.01) with 'Maxwell' GeForce GTX 970 an

I have installed Yosemite with Clover. NVIDIA Web Drivers installed and booting with nvda_drv=1. Verbose boot shows NVIDIA Web Drivers loaded, card works fine on DVI. Everything great. Only issue is a cosmetic one. NVIDIA Driver Manager Preferences Pane and it's shortcut in the Menubar always...

tdeus, Can you share the VBIOS (ROM file) that you flashed your card with? Can you also post your IOREG? And a screenshot of About This Mac > System Report > Graphics/Displays > ASUS GTX 750 Ti? Also, a screenshot of the GPU-Z window of the card.

SUCCESSFUL Yosemite Install with ASUS GTX 750 Ti - but with HDMI not working on NVIDIA Web Drivers 3

tdeus! Just the man I was looking for. My card is an ASUS GTX750TI - PH - 2GB DDR5. I assume yours is the same. Even I have done a Clover install. A few questions for you - 1. Isn't the STRIX BIOS a little too overclocked for our cards? 2. Is the card stable with the STRIX BIOS? General...

I can confirm that my ASUS GTX 750 Ti - PH - 2GD5 has a working VGA port. HDMI and DVI are the only issues.

"NVIDIA BIOS Editor 6.06 (NiBiTor)" Could this be of any help in analysing or modifying the VBIOS? Does anybody know how to work with it?

It seems like we can safely assume that the problem is due to some communication problem between the VBIOS of certain ASUS cards and the NVIDIA Web Drivers with respect to the number, layout, arrangement or some other parameter related to the ports. So, if the problem has been solved by...

Why do I need to use nv_disable=1?

Afaik, your monitor is going to sleep because it's receiving no signal from your video card port. The reason nv_disable=1 works for you is because it's disabling your card.

Although I bought the card for hardcore gaming (something I dearly miss from my teenage years), finding time for it is harder than I assumed, when your entire day goes by treating sick people. At the moment, I'm using Integrated Graphics, but using IGFX all the time and plugging in the GTX 750...

I contacted both NVIDIA and ASUS over Online Chat Support. They are not entertaining my issue (obviously/not surprised) as they say these ASUS cards were never sold to work with OS X. They said no part of the product mentions it is OS X compatible. These cards are sold with Windows in mind...

The VBIOS I assume is designed as per the layout/architecture of the card, right? So, wouldn't flashing another card's VBIOS have adverse effects on the flashed card's functioning due to a difference in the layout/architecture? Mine is the smaller sized, single fan 'PH' series of the ASUS GTX...
