Now using OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi, AppleALC for audio, and decided to try out the old HDMIAudio kext and everything seems to be working! Had to go back to 0x3 for the HDMI audio to work (not sure how stable it is or if it will work all the time but we'll see) - yeah it's not stable  but at...
So I tried turning SIP off 0x3 and ran the Realtek audio script again and then couldn't boot at all at that point and had to reinstall macOS. This time I tried running the audio script and got that working, enabled SIP and installed Nvidia which broke audio. Then disabled SIP, restarted hoping...
Thank you iFrodo! enabled SIP restarted installed the latest Nvidia drivers and was able to boot back into HS with no issues on the video end. The issue now is no audio. I haven't tried to see is 0x3 breaks the Nvidia drivers yet, but is there a way to get audio working with SIP enabled?
Yes!! Confirmed works like before. Just update ignore error and hit continue and restart. Was getting annoying having to enabling sip and all that stuff before and after every Nvidia update
Can confirm!! I was so annoyed not being able to play movies in iTunes anymore in 10.12 and iTunes 12.5.1, but I just fully downloaded a movie instead of streaming and now it works. Would be nice to just stream it, but I'm ok with downloading for now :) Thanks for shedding some light on this.
Anyone else with a G-sync monitor have a subtle flickering issue going on with it enabled? I mainly notice it on the desktop.
Also not sure if I should make a new thread on this, but is there anyway for clover to default to to display port vs hdmi? the bios also defaults to hdmi but wasn't sure...
speaking of mouse problems, is there anyway to stop the "recovered files" folder from showing up in the trash because of logitech drivers? so annoying. I've used recovertrasher before but would rather it not show up at all.
This did the trick!! Was reluctant to try it since I didn't want to have to call Apple to reactivate iMessage, but everything worked and didn't have to call.
For the missing weather and stock widget issue, I just clean installed Yosemite and then updated to El Cap and it kept the widgets :)
Is it only a few of us that have missing widgets with el cap? (on hackintosh not a real mac) Between this and handoff not working I'll probably go back to Yosemite for now since I didn't have any issues with it. :(
Need to install the Driver CsmVideoDxe-64 in clover
64bit video driver for Clover GUI allowing to choose more resolutions. It is based on CSM module in UEFI BIOS and requires CSM to be enabled.
Note: On some hardware, this may cause Clover to fail to start. It may also be a contributing factor...
I'll try this later. I'm in the same boat as everyone else, everything worked great with yosemite and now handoff isn't working. sms messaging and airdrop works fine though.
-restoring iPhone didn't do anything :(
I have this same problem (also missing the weather widget) and it sucks :/ the thread that was linked suggests to disable and enable SIP, but that's done differently with the hacks. suggestions? I have booterconfig 0x28 and csractiveconfig 0x3
-ok so i disabled sip by changing csr to 0x67...
