question looking to switch the clover boot loader with open core, can I get rid of the contents of my boot efi then copy over the open core contents from a usb efi with open core installed. I'm aware that ill have to edit the uuid in the config.plist from the efi folder u attached. trying to...

Been a while since I checked on this thread but with Big Sur release coming, wanted to see if you by chance are still on Clover or have u switched to OpenCore on this build, I'm looking to migrate my clover EFI to open core but not sure exactly how to do so. Open Core supports booting of Big...

    macOS 10.15.2 Update

Updated earlier tonight, installed clover 5100 latest whatever green and lilu, then downloaded 10.15.2 and ran the update from Data partition. Had to disconnect multi monitor during the update to be able to see the installer progress.

Great tip thank you very much..also updating to Catalina as we speak on both hackintoshes.

I thought about adding a Titan Ridge card. But from what I have read, you do need Windows to initialize the card. Also, hot plugging Thunderbolt devices is hit or miss...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. As I don't have a Thunderbolt Display that needs to be driven, I'm more than OK...

that OsxAptio driver seems to be the key to shutdown and sleep working. only thing to work on is those 2 USB ports. I will continue experimenting when I have some time later in the wk.

Attached is my EFI, it does contain the OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi, I used that instead of AptioMemoryFix-64.efi during my install, like I said previously I needed to make changes in the config along with adding OsxAptio and EMU64 to get the nvram strings to populate in order to get iMessage...

Not sure why my sleep and shutdown are working compared to everyone else, guess I'm lucky lol..anyway just updated to 10.14.4 with no issues.

So I got the wifi and bluetooth natively working with a BROADCOM BCM943602CS combo card and 1x PCIe adapter. Airdop and all that good stuff works. Regarding sleep and shutdown, not sure but mine was just working, I did start with a completely vanilla install and did a little config.plist...

After a few hours tonight, I can finally say I have a build with everything working so far, onboard audio, HDMI audio, RX580 Natively Supported, UHD 630 Framebuffer running in headless mode, I did have to manually set the layout of the ALC Codec via Hackingtool and also pick the correct ID for...

True. I forgot about AppleALC. If worst comes to worse, I do have a USB sound card that I use for audio stuff that I know is natively supported. So that's not too big of a deal for me. BTW, thanks for the aml for the USB saves a lot of time. lol.

I'm getting this board in tomorrow. I'm guessing lilu, whatevergreen, and Vega kexts aren't needed for a Sapphire RX 580 since its suppose to be plug and play natively supported.
