So sorry for the delay-- I see... My Titan is in slot 2 now for stability (enabled in Bios). I've got my 2 slot GPUs in 3/4 and 5/6. When I tried using two Titans it was very unpredictable with mounting devices, hence why I decided to go with only 1. Sorry don't have a good solution for you...
Hey, so I'm still running 1 card for the time being, and yes need warm reboot. I usually cold boot without TB devices before plugging only one of them in and then add in others, not sure if that makes a difference. Seems pretty stable this way and can hotplug. You're on Opencore right?
Really appreciate the ideas @joevt. I'll have to look into this and try to wrap my head around it all a bit better. For now I'm definitely interested in the temporary fix as I was counting on this drive in a few days.
I attempted to create the fast.sh file in the instructions (egpu forum), but...
Yes I meant IORegistryExplorer.app. I see now that wasn't sufficient and apologize for not using pcitree.sh as you asked. I have a readout here, hope this helps:
Yes RAID-0 and a 4-bay M.2 enclosure (https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/TB3EX4M2SL/), They're Samsung SSD 970 EVO's (only250GB each, 4 sticks).
Macbook Pro is 2019 running Catalina (2.3 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9). Actually I just tested with the laptop again and depending on which speed test I...
I just realized that my TB3 seems capped. I tested a RAID on it and get about 900MB/s vs using a real Macbook Pro at 1600MB/s.
(The Titan Ridge was flashed to NVM50 and configured DROM; all cables are plugged into the card).
Hopefully I didn't miss it, but I haven't found this topic by...
I'm back down to just the standard install for the single Titan Ridge for now. I didn't find a reliable procedure to get so many devices to work, and I had spent so much time there for a couple months getting my first hack going and working on these things I need to take some time off for other...
I also saw there's a new SSDT to replace AWAC. I've got some projects going so don't want to disturb my system. But hope to try it all in a couple weeks.
@djlild7hina, was sorry to just see you step back, but glad you're still around some. I'm grateful for all of your help!
I've been using the 6-pin the whole time. I'm pretty sure my code 62 issues cleared up was when I switched to Bios 3001. Just make sure to use the patched version and add AWAC.ssdt.
And I've got some good news:
I flashed BIOS to the patched 3101 and it seems my system is reacting similar to yours @djlild7hina.
It's pretty buggy getting both Titan Ridges and all of the thunderbolt devices to work consistently, but I'll work on for now at least finding a pattern that works...
I think that's their plan, Asus support wouldn't even discuss putting one in another slot. But it seems like with @CaseySJ and @djlild7hina's help it's working anyway somehow.
The 3101 BIOS in your Github is already patched, correct? So should just need to add SSDT-AWAC to ACPI folder and config.plist? It's panicking on me.
Also should MSR Lock be still disabled in 3101? The Github is looking good!
That's a good point I didn't think of  -doesn't even go into setup.
Just one without pins jumped (normal way) works pretty much perfectly. I've got 4 devices plugged in, hot plug, etc.
It's just when I try anything else like move out of slot 2, jump, or add a second card that things get...
