Yeah the HP bios is very limited. I have gone through a couple times trying to see if there is anything that it could be in there and I don't think so. Also If I try and run multibeast again it fails.

I have bought all three of these and they show up in system profiler but say no driver installed and do not even supply power o charge my phone. Seem to work in Linux though at least the last one haven't tried the others yet. So are not working for me either ORICO PFU3-2P --...

I got the ORICO PFU3-2P and got the same nothing. Didn't work out of the box either. Maybe I have some other kext causing conflict or may its my box. I am trying to put it in a Hp Z600 workstation.

I ordered the ORICO PFU3-2P other post people said they had a lot of success. Should just be the 2 port version. under the main link the were all around $80 but I did see after looking again one for $25 but it was all black and I think I saw it before and thought it was the same One I bought...

The aux power is plugged in the one you listed is $80 on amazon. The one I got is the updated version of your card.

I had to update my bios. The board came with bios 800 or something and I updated it to like 1603. Got me to install, but all of a sudden after running for a week or so I ket KP when loading normal. Something about bluetooth

I figured it out. I upgdrade my bios to the latest and it worked. I thought patching the bios was something different. I have been running 10.9 for a week but then all of a sudden i get a bluethooth error on start up.

How did you even get into installer. I have gryphon z87 and GTX 670 4gb. Is there any boot flags you used to get to installer?

Yea I can't get to istall screen what bios setttings or boot flags, just -x?
