Hi I've attached my EFI folder minus themes. I had done the kext rebuild because you mentioned it before but I will try again and reinstall the drivers now. Also the only things I've installed other than the web drivers is multibeast and configurator.
EDIT: Neither of those things worked for me
I did what you've said, confirmed that sip is disabled so I did do it. Now every time I change in the system preferences to use Nvidia web driver and reboot it reverts back to using "OSX Default Graphics Driver".
checked in config.plist and Nvidia web drivers are set to true also
I feel so...
Okay first of all when I open configurator it find three config.plist, attached a picture of this. I assume I want EFI>EFI>CLOVER>config.plist
Secondly where do I check/change this csrActiveConfig, I cannot find it :s
And finally every time I boot I have to use the flag -disablegfxfirmware...
if you managed to install osx at all then your bios is fine, to get gpu working you have to do what aol said previously especially the inject nvidia in multibeast or clover configurator
Do you know what Ethernet next I would use for the Z270x Ultra Gaming?
I've looked around online and can't find it, it just says intel Gbe LAN. I tried the AppleIntelE1000e 3.2.4.2 but that didn't work
I don't know which one was working before cause it just worked from the unibeast USB I created
Yeah I just found a post from RehabMan which said when you run clover from usb it has various ethernet stuff that will work by default so when I ran clover from boot drive it wouldn't have these things. So I've fixed that problem.
However there is one problem left, when I run OSX through my GPU...
Okay I got osx installed and used multibeast to install clover and web drivers etc
Small problem after I use multibeast and reboot my wired internet connection no longer works, I didn't mess with anything to do with internet in multibeast because it was already working... ideas?
Thats actually very helpful thank you. Just to clarify do I actually need to use multibeast at all? Or can i just install clover so I don't need my usb to boot?
Can anyone give me some indication of what settings in multibeast to use? There were a lot of things in there that I wasn't sure about
I have a GTX 1080, 7700k and a gigabyte z270x ultra gaming
also got a AG241QX monitor with built in speakers, how would I get the sound working from the monitor?
So I have successfully installed High Sierra using the unibeast method: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unibeast-install-macos-high-sierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/
Note: I had to remove my GTX 1080 and use -disablegfxfirmware in order to get it to install
I proceeded to...
Installed nvidia web drivers and rebooted with the card back in and now it stops like before.
And it still only boots through integrated if I use -disablegfxfirmware
