Yes, I removed it since it was creating this consistent problem I've been trying to describe. If I leave it in their the machine becomes unusable. I followed your guide exactly as written.
This is my 3rd install using your guide and removing that kept is the only solution I could come up with...
"Note: This guide will also work with Mavericks (for laptops with supporting hardware), although that is not my primary testing target. In fact, I'm using the same setup on my 4530s with OS X as old as 10.6.8. Of course, many of the latest kexts are not compatible with the older versions of OS X...
Okay, so here is my output and all the clover files you need and a copy of my previous post from the other thread where you said I should post here.
"I reinstalled and followed the guide step by step and still had the same issue.

Here is the ACPI.
And Rehabman, thank you very much for this awesome guide.
It really saved me because of some issues I had with my main machine and a project I'm in the middle of mixing.
All the best!
I reinstalled and followed the guide step by step and still had the same issue.
When using the finder and dragging and dropping items, the dragged item refuses to drop and the finder won't let go of the dragged item unless I force quite Finder.
I after I force quite Finder everything is again...

This is regardless of whether I use my magic mouse or the track pad. I upgraded to the...

(Yo, I got it to work again, I just installed the latest version of your VoodooPS2 KEXT.
That actually shocked me that the PS2 KEXT would even effect the magic mouse...
So, even though I'm running a different OS, I should still post there?
I thought about posting in the original Pro Book guide for Mavericks, but it said it isn't supported.
The only thing that makes sense to me is a possible VoodoPS2 Kext issue, but that thread is crazy long, I tried reading...
I just wanted to post my succesful attempt at Hackintoshing my EliteBook 8460p.
About a year ago, I had purchased a used HP 8460p on Ebay for about 170,- €.
It had had an Intel Core i5 2520, 4 GB RAM and a 320 GB Harddrive.
I'd decided to try to Hackintosh it from the first moment I...
Actually, I'm in Munich, Germany and the Czech Republic is not that far away, my roommate's home town is actually near the boarder and I don't mind taking a weekend to ride the train out to Prague!!! :-) I think I will go with this board and see how it goes!!!
