[solved] Boot Glitch and Screen Flickering with the HD4600 Mobile

@RehabMan hi! Can you please help me with flickering monitor during the boot? I have i5 4590 + MSI H81M-P33 + HD4600. I can see 1536 MB VRAM in preferences during flickering but it continues flickering again & again. So I can't work normally with any program I need. I use DVI-VGA converter for...

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

Check it out. The iMac 14.1/14.4 model is listed here instead of the iMac 14.2. The Device ID is also incorrectly specified. Can I fix this in Clover?

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

Hi. When I put PlatformID 0x0D220003 I can load in the system (password entry, desktop) without inscription "No signal" (I can even finally see 1536MB of vRAM instead of 4MB), but monitor is still flashing (not often as it can and could before but...). So what do you think?

Ok, I re-read that article and I understood about it. Thanks.

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

Check it please. I need to enter right "Platform ID" to Clover? Am I correct? Also, don't pay attention to 0x12345678. I set this PlatformID to be able to load the system without flashing monitor. As for the correct PlatformID, I wrote below.

Okay, thanks for your help. Is it necessary to put a "tick" "Inject Intel"?

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

How could you determine that my system is not installed? My God! I have had it for a week now. I write that I see both the BIOS screen and the screen with commands (its called verbose), and when the system starts (password entry, desktop), the monitor writes me "No Signal" and starts flashing. I...

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

Sounds bad, but maybe I need to check the connection to the monitor? That is, which port does the VGA wire go to? What do you think? Don't get mad, I'm new and I'm trying to figure out the Hackintosh theme.

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

I was told about converters by a master who repeatedly installed Hackintosh. My problem is that when loading into the system via a DVI-VGA Converter, the monitor writes "No signal" and starts blinking endlessly. ig-platform-id did not enter, because I thought that Lilu & WhateverGreen would...

Maybe I just need to install the correct SMBIOS for my configuration?

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

I already use them, but it didn't help me. I was told that the latest versions of Mojave and Catalina don't work properly with DVI to VGA converters. I may need to buy a new monitor and plug-in it with clean DVI/HDMI connection. Thanks for your reply.

    Monitor's flickering/flashing on MacOS Mojave (i5 4590 + HD 4600)

Hi, everyone. I hope you'll help me. My PC: i5 4590 + HD 4600 + MSI H81M-P33 + 8 GB DDR3 RAM; OS: MacOS Mojave 10.14.6; SMBIOS: iMac 14,1 (also try iMac 14,2 and iMac 15,1). Monitor is connecting by DVI-VGA converter. I see both the BIOS screen and the screen with commands (its called verbose)...
