I had a similar problem. I'm on Sierra. When I used Clover Configurator on my computer ( I have to change the frame buffer to get 3 monitors working) it would freeze and restart after saving the new config. I'm trying to use CCE, I open the config on my EFI partition, when I change the frame...
I just upgraded from Yosemite to Sierra. I used Moarfish's set up (Thanks!) and no problems except for no USB 3.0 and couldn't wake up after the computer went to sleep.
Before in all my setups up to Yosemite, I was able to get 3 monitors, DP with adapter, DVI and HDMI but I had to use Kudzu...
I was able to install Yosemite more than a month ago. It's been successful up until now. Tried booting -v and it got stuck here (see screenshot). I can boot using flags -f -v. Please help me figure this one out. Thanks!!
Thanks Adrian B!
I've never used an Nvida card as this is my first and only setup. If I used one of these cards, would I still be able to use 3 monitors?
As of now, I use the display port adapter and I had change the framebuffer to Kudzu to get the 3 working but my card reads 6xxx.
I've had this set up for around 3 years. What newer video cards would be compatible with this set up? Thanks!
GA H67MA USB3-B-3
Radeon HD 6870 (3 monitor setup using active Display port adapter)
16gb Gskill Memory
I've been following this Moarfish's guide since day 1. Always been successful. Now I'm trying to install Yosemite and I keep getting the "circle with slash" after it tries loading on the "apple screen". I've tried -x and GraphicsEnabler=No but still the same. Any help is appreciated...
I also tried to use the Unibeast with the SSD drive that has the new Mavericks installation and it works. So the bios must be ok.
With the SSD drive that has the ML installation, if it's connected, nothing works. Even the Unibeast USB doesn't work. I only get the "Loading Operating System"...
1. I have ML on one SSD and Windows 7 & 8 on a one HD. Everything was running fine. I can boot into any one of them with the spacebar.
2. I also have a spare SSD and I installed Mavericks. Successfull. At bootup, I could see and access all 4 OS's and choose with the spacebar.
3. Then on...
