under ACPI>Booter>Patch - there is Skip board id check, but it's not enabled.
do a complete hardware check for me, follow this.
Yes you can. Make some movement on the site and i will be notified.
my conclusion is about the same. Our vBios is partially identical. u have 3 connectors.
describe me again what's not working and upload your current EFI.
This vBios what you attached is belong to your specific hardware? if YES, then use RBE_128.exe on windows, if you have installed.
Edit:
This way we can make sure the values are correct.
EDID is easy to extract if u really need. Command in linux: xrandr --props
what about the vBios? Clover has the ability to extract too with F6? Do you have your own?
2 display mean? you have the built-in and an external?
I am aware of this two, but u know if it doesn't inject, i cannot control it with software.
I have a thought that might be doable is using the Clover patched DSDT to make an SSDT patch for this.
Do you know anyone on the site who might be able to do this or help out?
what do you think?
Hi Feartech!
Yes, i know, and pretty much none of any values give a correct backlight slide for this dGPU.(obviously)
I tried custom applbkl-name+applbkl-data from this era MBP values from iOreg/SMBIOS with Radeon dGPUs with no luck.
Just you have a clue what i'm saying this was one of my...
it will, this only need for backlight/brightness control.
If u have working built-in display with no brightness control, then u need to add
applbkl - type=data - 03000000 or 01000000
EDIT:
i missed the third elements, under ACPI>Booter>Patch> u need "Skip Board ID check". (#282 the 2nd link)
So, it's definitely a progress.
ACPI>Patch - missing the PNLF entries build with SSDTTime.
DeviceProperties - GPU - dual-link 1 value need above 1600x900 resolution. There is a manual, keep in mind yours is Mobile GPU!
I think set 6 bit value for link/pixel bit.
AAPL00,override-no-connect =...
CpuPM is = SSDT-PM + RTC0 is = SSDT-EC.
Kernel>Patch - all of your entries are "enabled:false" so not active and i've no clue which one is need you.
Probably none of them.
So, Disable Library Validation Enforcement - download this .plist and put in there and enable it.
NVRAM:
the .plist file...
grab a new x64 OC EFI, you removed too much entries.
ACPI:
Add:
- use Opencore naming for better understanding. - CpuPM+RTC0(HPET)
- u don’t need ssdt-plug and probably SBUS-MCHC
- build EC+HPET+PNLF with SSDTTime again and .plist values for ACPI>Patch and enabled them too!!
Patch:
remove...
Just to be sure, you have OCLP installed and QE/CI is still not working.
VBIOS was required under Clover, but not OC.
You need to clean your .config, check this and this site. And I recommended to looking on github for other EFI's.
If you are stuck, upload your .config again and I will make...
