Hi all, On macOS Sonoma you are supposed to have a moving login screen. This does not move for me on first boot but does if I lock the screen. Does anyone else have this issue? or is there a simple fix? Thanks

Thanks, Changing the serial number has now removed the alert that was annoying me. Thanks to @UtterDisbelief too. The exclamation marks are still there. However, I'm guessing this is normal? I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 The memory is correct in saying 64 GB 3600 MHz DDR4

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I don't know where the icon came from, I think it just appeared after an update. Also the serial number seemed to give me a warranty at the same time, which I can change if necessary. As for the name, that was a mistake by me and have never got around to changing...

Has anyone seen these issues with memory and PCI cards? I have tried using RestrictEvents.kext, I have also tried Fixing MacPro7,1 Memory Errors using the dortania guide to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. :thumbup:

Hi, I have been having an issue with both shutdown and restart, as soon as I click on any of these options, my system freezes on the background and will not shutdown for about 5 minutes, on next boot I get the message 'your computer restarted because of a problem' I was hoping it was due to...

I was able to fix my issue, it must have been something to do with clover Bootloader, I ended up updating to the latest version (5104) the copied back over my config.plist, now everything boots with no issues. Thanks for your reply @Going Bald

I have the same issue, were you able to find out the problem? mine boots fine straight from the ubuntu ssd, when i booth through clover, it hangs on the purple screen after selecting ubuntu? Many thanks in advanced
