A quick fix (hack?) to eliminate sound popping...

I realize I'm resurrecting a really old thread here but this paved the way for my solution. The only modification needed was to change the "StartInterval" value to 15 instead of 55. I was still hearing some pops with 55, so that means that it was waiting too long. Setting it to 15 does the...

Fails to Boot After Using MultiBeast

I have fixed the issue by creating another El Capitan USB that was able to keep everything on my computer.

    No sound ALC892

Two more things: To get to your windows boot you can press a button (for me it's F12) right when you turn on the computer to select a boot drive. I had the same problem with Clover. I saw your other post, by the way. Does sound remain after sleep or no?

Fails to Boot After Using MultiBeast

I think I may have somehow selected legacy boot. I'm noticing that I saw a screen like this to start up, compared to this one. I saw files like AHCI_3rdParty_SATA.kext, AppleHDA.kext, and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext were recently added/modified from my system/library/extentions folde. Booting...

Fails to Boot After Using MultiBeast

I initially had a i5-4670k build running with integrated graphics on Yosemite. Booting with Clover. Audio was not working, so I downloaded MultiBeast and attempted to install the Realtec 892 to get audio to work. Unfortunely, it seems that quite a few other things were installed at the same...

Switching from 7770 to HD 4600 Integrated Graphics

To put things more simply, I think I just need to be able to get into MultiBeast and change a few settings. I want to be able to do this without resetting my hard drive. I've tried changing the GraphicsEnabler and IGPEnabler, but these do not seem to change anything. Any thoughts would be...

Switching from 7770 to HD 4600 Integrated Graphics

I had Yosemite set up on my computer with a 7770. The 7770 no longer works, so I had to switch to integrated graphics. My processor is a i5-4670k, so the integrated graphics is Intel HD 4600. When I boot, it loads initially on only one monitor, with the other monitor having a bunch of lines and...

Pretty sure you're going to have to wait for an Apple computer using a Haswell before you can use it.

CustoMac Budget ATX or Mac Mini?

So now the question is which would benefit more with an SSD, OSX or Windows? And then whatever one has the SSD would just use the HDD as "overflow" storage, right, with most of that OS's storage on that SSD. Would it work like that?

CustoMac Budget ATX or Mac Mini?

32GB SSD for each? Can they both share a data hard drive, or will that mess things up? Would I be able to use my current HDD and put it in the new computer and use that along with 2 SSDs? basically, how should I set this all up? My current idea: 32GB SSD #1: OSX 32GB SSD #2: Windows 8 640GB...
