    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Dang, well fingers crossed! So I tried the method that CaseySJ recommended and when ever I go to patch the Post-Install Root Patch with OC Legacy Patcher 1.4.3 I get a "SIP is enabled (Required: 0x803 or higher)" and "Currently Booted SIP: (0x0)" messaged and it will not let me click on the...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hello @CaseySJ! Thank you for the quick response, much appreciated! I can certainly look into that though I'd like be be able to get a Bluetooth/WiFi card like the Fenvi T1919 that will be supported with future macOS versions for some time to come. Are there any that you recommend that are...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hey all, I bought the Fenvi T1919 and placed it in a x1 slot slot on my Z390 DESIGNARE, although I can't seem to get the wifi/bluetooth to work at all. I've copied the SSDT-DESIGNARE-Z390-NO-CNVW.aml to the CLOVER/ACPI folder on the EFI partition of my Sonoma 14.4.1 NVMe drive and have also...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hi @jiffyslot Truthfully no, I don't really care about Reminders, I use my phone for all of that. I do want some notifications however but not from Reminders. When you say you had to disable all Notification Center items, what are you referring to exactly & how did you go about that? For me...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

No I don't have anything setup on a schedule fortunately. The only ones I have is hard disk sleep and a 12min display off.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hi @CaseySJ I don't think I explained it well enough then. Based off that post the desired outcome was this: <key>TCPKeepAliveDuringSleep</key> <false/> <key>NotificationWake</key> <false/> <key>DNDWhileDisplaySleeps</key> <true/> That is what I have...which matches correctly. But...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hi @CaseySJ I wanted to follow up on why my system was waking up. I found that it was due to a MaintenanceWake. I have a reminder on my phone at 5AM Daily, and this is what is causing the daily wake up. I normally don't notice it because I am usually up before then. But on the days that I'm...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Sweet! ok so just to clarify for myself... Do I need to quit IPG every time I want to put it to sleep or will the code you posted be a full fix needing to only be run once and from there on I can keep IPG running every time in the background before sleep? Also incase it has negative effects...

It does go to sleep but only if Intel Power Gadget is not opened before it tries to sleep. I honestly wouldn't mind if it wakes up then goes back to sleep but looks like its preventing that. Anyway around it besides remembering to quit the app? :lolno:

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hi @CaseySJ So I have also noticed that my hackintosh wakes up when my reminders go off one my phone. Anyway to prevent that as I can't turn off WOL with this PCIe NIC.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I'd be happy to try to re-flash the BIOS. However, this issue started a long time ago. I'm not 100% sure when because at the time I was only using Win10, and I figured it was just a Win10 issue. :lolno: I didn't pay too much attention to it until I installed macOS on it. The first BIOS I flashed...

    Best PCIe Ethernet NIC?

Thanks for the quick reply @pastrychef! I mainly used CaseySJ's OC 0.6.8 EFi folder as that is what was recommended since I have almost identical hardware. I have PCIE Slot1 disabled because I have my NVIDIA GPU there and only is supported in Win10. Which ones caught your eye as a concern...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I can definitely try that, however I'm 99% certain that it is hardware related because the ethernet ports bounce in win10 also and win10 is installed on a different ssd than macOS. I am also trying to reach out to Gigabyte to see if they can replace the board since it's still under the 3yr...
