Hackintosh Support for 10th Gen intel Laptops (i5-10210u)

If it's installation that stalls, has anyone tried installing onto an external drive with a known working Hackintosh, then try booting the external drive on the 10th gen machine?

Did you inject device_id? Also please attach problem reporting files with every reply. Difficult to see what’s going on on your system. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/tool-generate-proper-problem-reporting-files.235953/

Even though USB seems to work out of the box, you’ll still want to map them correctly. You may run into strange behaviors. There’re a lot of ghost USB that does not have a physical port. See rehabMan’s usbinjectall guide for details. I haven’t tested it because I have anAMD card, but...

You've set a platform_id but not a device_id for your IGPU for Whatevergreen. My suspicion is WhateverGreen thus failed to detect what IGPU you really have, and therefore unable to inject the proper IntelMaxValue for you. Your quick sync probably won't work either. You should find this post...

Good luck. Your oem WiFi is not likely to work. If you have an Nvidia card it won’t work either don’t spend time on it

I know Unibeast does not support Catalina yet. This is from my other guide for a Laptop. Use the same step to create your Catalina boot disk. You may need to copy my config.plist into the EFI folder and use as a starting point.

You have to use UEFI mode. Try plugging into a USB 2.0 drive. Try a different port. Try reinstalling Clover. Maybe install it manually.

I think I know now. Did you create your installation media as legacy mode? You need to use UEFI mode.

I’ve never seen this screen. Can you show me a video of how you got to this screen? I do remember having to wipe the drive completely clean using a Linus boot drive, as detailed in my guide. Maybe it’s dell’s recovery system?

Does the B156 work natively for you without issues? With backlight support as well? I am going to upgrade my display on a G50-80 and wondering if I'll have to work on getting backlight to work.

Gotta read carefully. Use only one of the two following methods. You did both.

    Solved > Shutdown issue Catalina

Thanks. I'll try this today. Question though if power state is being timed out does it mean the system is unable to sleep?

You don't need applebacklightfixup now that Whatevergreen is handling it. It's probably confusing the system now coz you have both update Lilu to 1.4.0 and Whatevergreen to 1.3.5 you also don't need appleps2 and voodoops2 . also no need applealc and voodoohda
