Thanks GBeard, but it didn't do the trick although i can reach El Cap desktop if slaved via sata 2 USB converter.... whereas before i wasn't successful in getting to desktop once the pc had restarted.
Just wanted to document my findings regarding Skylake and Asus Maximus VIII Hero. I managed to boot to OSX desktop using 14,2 profile from clover configurator with NO other options. However i can only manage to install via USB, thats to say, i had to slave my SSD with a sata to usb converter...

Cheers but the Samsung EVO is working 100% i have checked. Its connected in Sata port 1 on my mobo and all other drives have been removed to eliminate any conflicts. The issue is with El Capitan not being able to unmount the SSD in prep for the install. Looked all over this forum and some people...
**UPDATE** i tried formatting via USB again and this time it recognised the SSD but when i selected it, it shows the error:
"OS X could not be installed on your computer

Any ideas?
FINALLY! i have reached the apple OSX installer. Wow progress never looked so sweet :D
I am going to writeup a very detailed step by step tut for us technologically challenged folk when/ and if i ever manage to install El Capitan on Skylake.

You mean ACPI right? As in the patch shown here? in step 2 called 2. IOAPIC Fix?

Why dont you try your config without the USB SSDT?
I feel your pain WeedGod, im trying to do the same but cannot reach the installer. If you manage to resolve, would you be a good God and let us all know how?
I'll do the same!
Yes well, i have the basic settings config.plist on the EFI partition made by unibeast. I have taken out both GTX980 cards and am running HDMI from the motherboard to my monitor.
I tried to boot with both the default config.plist (made by unibeast) and with the McPro 3,1 SMBIOS added into...
