    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

Koteto, I've built a number of these machines (identical builds except 64GB RAM and 4GB 770s) specifically for AE/Nuke/Maya/Arnold/Octane rendering. So let's try to figure this out. - Have you tried the Web Drivers (not the GTX drivers, but the Quadro OSX drivers that shilohh links in op)...

GTX 960s running in Mavericks and/or Yosemite?

Hi all, was just wondering if anyone has got the brand new EVGA GTX 960 to run in a Mavericks or Yosemite build? This is the card I'm thinking about buying: note it will be used for 3D work so cuda is important to work as well...

Has anyone built a Blade Server hackintosh?

I ended up doing this on a 9-blade unit with Asus RAMPAGE IV Gene boards. Would anyone be interested in a how-to? e: We use it as a render farm machine in a VFX facility, so each and every blade is at ~99%-100% CPU load for up to 100+ hour stretches at a time.

ASUS Rampage IV GENE ??Help Please??

Hey farcry, just wanted to tell you I used your unibeast settings and advice to setup a similar build to yours on a 9-node blade server! However I could not get Chimera to boot past the black screen after the apple logo without using GraphicsEnabler=Yes, just FYI! npci flag seemed critical as...

Hello Koteto, all of those parts will work together :) I have built now 7 of shilohh's machines for work and my partlist is very similar :) I HIGHLY recommend the X79 Gskillsz RAM!

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

discoman, unless you already have that RAM in your board, I would recommend only sticking with X79-environment rated RAM in these builds (G.Skillz Ripjawsz)

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

We're getting this issue on one of our shiloh machines where the mouse will lag if there is some processor-intensive stuff going on in the background. Switching between either Web Drivers or Stock Nvidia drivers does not seem to fix the issue... Any ideas?

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

shilohh - Just wanted to let you know I've built in total 3 of your systems now, and each runs FLAWLESSLY (however I HIGHLY RECOMMEND only using G.Skillz Ripjaws Z 1600 RAM for 110% RAM stability) First system had Corsair Vengeance 2133 RAM and has a ~1% chance to need to re-boot after...

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

You may be able to fix dock/menu bar issue by going to System Preferences > Mission Control > and unchecking the option that has to do with each screen having its own 'space'.

Clover won't autoboot even though timeout is 0

Hey all, I just built a rig following shilohh's golden build. Everything works flawlessly, when I initially installed, Clover would autoboot. Now though, it does not, even though timeout is set to 0 in config.plist on my EFI partition. Any ideas why it's not autobooting? I don't want the gui...
