I decided to install everything from scratch with OpenCore 0.6.3 (was using Clover previously), following their guide carefully from Dortania site, and my gosh, this is the first time a Hackintosh installation went smoothly with ZERO issues from the start for me!. Those guys at Dortania made a...
I'm interested to know how I can do it. As I understood , you can't just select any Mac profile unless the underlying hardware kind of match the official components. In this case, my Hack is Ivy Bridge (with Profile of iMac Late 2012), so how can I spoof it to appear as a a Haswell 2014 one...
Anyone else having this error while downloading the upgrade from Settings?:
An error occurred while running scripts from the package “RecoveryHDMetaDmg.pkg”.
Indeed, I have an Ivy Bridge and a Kaby Lake hackintoshes, and the Ivy Bridge is the most transparent to upgrade, almost nothing else to tinker in this one. I haven't upgraded the Kaby Lake one since I'm still waiting for the Nvidia web driver for my GTX 1080, but in the Ivy Bridge box I have a...
Nevermind, I installed AppleALC and Lilu as per your guide and it worked fine. I noticed that cloverALC is deprecated so it doesn´t work anymore. Thanks!
Hi Toleda,
Do you have the updated audio_cloverALC script file that can work with Mojave 10.14.1? I used your audio_cloverALC-130_v0.6.command script for Mojave but seems is not working with this new MacOS update for 10.14.1. Or any workaround that you suggest?. I have the ALC892 chip. Thanks a...
You don´t need the "latest clover build" for Mojave. Use the RehabMan's latest clover fork (4658) which is less cumbersome than the official Clover (that might break things up). I used 4658 and updated to Mojave without any issue. Just make sure to select the right options in Clover to patch...
Interesting, so this modifies current 10.13.6 drivers to make it work with 10.14?. Do you have to select or pick any options while running this script?. Also I wonder if after doing that there will be any issues to update to newest Nvidia web driver once they release it.
So, Mojave is out. Is there any new apfs file that we should use or what's the way to upgrade from High Sierra (e.g. directly from App Store or something else)?
Thanks Vulgo, however as I mentioned, I can´t boot into MacOs with SIP enabled, as the Web driver is not running right with SIP enabled and I see a rotating circle going on forever and then freezing. Not sure if this is due to Web driver or the Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixup I added to...
Well, I could install driver 387.10.10.10.30.103 and using latest Lilu and NvidiaFix texts with no issues. But now, seems if I try to boot with SIP enabled (0x00), it hangs ,showing the rotating circle and not starting MacOS. Do you know if I can install CUDA driver with SIP disabled?
I wonder how could you install driver 387.10.10.10.30.103 with Ben Dobell script, if is blacklisted. This is his current blacklist:
