Also I cleared the NVRAM from both the drive and the usb(F11 on clover), would this have caused both the catalina installation and the actual drive to not be able to boot?- crvl

Yes I changed all the BIOS settings again and cleared the NVRAM, but I am unable to change the DSDT.aml file as I can't boot up, the original config in the installation USB doesn't work as well (it used to without any problems before battery change ) how do you recommend I patch the dsdt file, I...- crvl
