@RehabMan since you seem to know a lot about usb maybe you can help me?
Since my original post I have learned how to disable ports and have disabled as many as possible. This is the current config i have. also attached is my ioreg.
Hey peeps, this is a patch you can use instead of changing your system definition, maybe a mod could make this stickied to the front of the thread:
<key>KextsToPatch</key>
<array>
<dict>
<key>Comment</key>
<string>AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy (board-id) Patch (c) Pike R...
Some more notes for people who have this setup, you want the following kexts, eventually install them all into /Library/Extensions:
AppleALC.kext
AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
IntelMausiEthernet.kext
Lilu.kext
USBInjectAll.kext
@Stork if i've got a i7 7700k, and i use 14,2 instead of 18,3 to make my GPU work, am I not running into issues by telling Mac OS my CPU is older than it is? The CPU for 14,2 is generation 4! my CPU is generation 7!
Well if anyone else with matching hardware stumbles into this pitfall, the fix is really really simple:
STOP USING WHATEVERGREEN.
Well technically you've also gotta stop using the iMac18,3 definition and switch to iMac14,2 or you'll get a black screen on the monitor connected to the Radeon RX...
Hello,
Previously I have had this setup working in 10.14.2, but not with Whatevergreen. After upgrading to 10.14.6, It became clear to me that all the intel patches/kexts had been merged into Whatevergreen. So I did my best to follow the instructions, and removed all the old kexts/patches...
I thought maybe it's helpful to include full clover folder. Am i even using correct system definition for my hardware? iMac18,3 ?
Additionally I have added the contents of my /Library/Extensions
My boot and system log is flooded with this looping exception and attempted recovery, it happens repeatedly:

Hi @P1LGRIM
Thanks for that clover.plist, i did install it just now, but afterwards computer could not boot due to mach error. After adding:
<key>DropTables</key>
<array>
<dict>
<key>Signature</key>
<string>MATS</string>
</dict>
</array>
I can boot again.
Also i had to reinstall the ALC...
In energy saver I have my settings set to sleep never, because almost every time my computer sleeps it crashes.
Sometimes it won't crash if it hasn't slept for very long. For example if i manually put it to sleep, i can immediately bring it back and it won't have crashed. But if i walk away...
Ok, just realized i'm retarded, there is a V2.3 out of IntelMausiEthernet.kext now. I have installed that, and if you are reading this from the future and I haven't posted back here again in more than 1 week, that fix worked for me :)
Wow I am both elated and sad to find this thread. This problem has plagued me for months now. And I thought i was crazy to think that a crashed computer could take down the whole network, but it seems like many others are experiencing this too. @Stork said it was patched back in 2016, but...
