I have been using M920Q for a few months but only with one monitor HDMI Dell 4K LCD. So for so good, but message not really working well.
iMessage----not stable
Air drop ----not working (intel 8260 WiFi)
thanks for the detail explains. I have two laptop HP prebook 4540s Haswell model work very well, but too old now. I will have one m920q i7-8700T to test on. thanks a lot.
what is your best mini machine for running macOS? m910q just a pain, I give up too. I have HP 800G2 tiny running very stable, only have sleep issue. The reason trying m910q it comes with i7 but 800G2 only i3.
I am testing M910q-i7-7700T, Catalina every thing ok, but slow boot performance, running kind of stable. I update open core 0.6.8 for Big Sur 11.3, but running trouble now. Keep rebooting itself once after update the Big Sur looks like never finish installation.
Thanks@asleb, in fact, I check back the EFI Folder I was using your EFI. So whatever you have the "sleep waking and RTC error issue, they are doing the same on my machine. :p
I may replace a fully support Wi-Fi device on next.
I just finished install to HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini by Opencore 0.6.1, after switch DP port and testing out sleep (no wake no signal to LCD) RTC error comes up. I search some intel Wi-Fi work as AC7260, 8265, 9260 etc, but I got 8260 can't get Wi-Fi to work, only bluetooth show up.
I have finish put this system setup into Mac Pro 2008 case, also testing out a few thing benchmark want to share here. I learn everything from forum member, thank everyone. Testing out almost wonderful, I love this build.
thing work:
DP, HDMI sound, onboard sound
sleep
all USB 2.0, USB 3.0...
