Actually you are right about that. I was sitting on HS (because of my GPU being gtx 650Ti), but I decided to upgrade (to get Xcode 11) and just go for Catalina to see if it would work...
I updated (Audio and sleep not working. And slow boot compared to HS otherwise fine.) mine to get the newest version of Xcode, which is only available on Catalina. But I also keep all my storage files on separate hdd so I can reinstall Catalina immediately when this awesome guide is updated...
