Morning desk lovers!, my dream of creating the next episode of Hack Desk on a GenMachine REN5000 equipped with a Ryzen 5700U is surprisingly, moving along smoothly!. No crashes or freezing within 5 hours of production so far!.

I was just looking at prices for bare bone mini AMD PCs, prices for the 5700U can now be found for under $200 on everyones favorite Chinese trading platform, free delivery too. The 4700U GenMachine is a good price, I'd be happy with that, Ventura runs really well on these mini APUs.

Did you plug the Antenna from the Wi-Fi/BT the correct way round?, It's quite possible they're pugged in the wrong port.

Have you thought about installing Ventura?, I've been on it for the past week and I haven't experienced any issues. I even downloaded iMovie and started putting together the next episode of Hack Desk on a GenMachine 5700U, Sonoma couldn't do that.

The EFI I attached in post #161 has 'Airportitlwm-Ventura-v2.3.0' which I disabled, replace it with 'Airportitlwm-Sonoma14.4-v2.3.0'. https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm/releases

Have you checked the cable attached to the M.2 Wi-Fi/BT card?.

Interestingly @Feartech the battery System Settings window shows up in macOS despite there being no battery!. I think its a quirk from these systems, it's been noted elsewhere too.

Where do I start, first thing I did was put all this in the trash!, not necessary. Another thing I did was remove the boot-arg '-wegnoegpu'... I also deleted your SMBIOS info, but I like that you're using iMac20,2, that's the SMBIOS I use for my 4700G build. Try your vastly slimmed down EFI...

I've attached my EFI from my working 5700U GenMachine, I have disabled Airportitlwm.kext and removed SMBIOS info. Try this while I look over yours, I'm currently in Ventura but the EFI will work with Sonoma too!.
