I am getting about 1035 read and 843 write on the Intel 750 PCIE3 X4 SSD. The write seems on spec with a max of 900MBps. The 1035 read speed seems half as good as it should be. But I'm not really complaining, as this Intel SSD is still plenty faster than my former Mushkin SSD's in a RAID0 array...
Sword: That worked. I was able to install successfully with the driver. I tried using El Cap Multibeast 8.01 after install, rebooted, but cannot get to the desktop. I always end up at "Prohibited" sign with a "Still waiting for root device" error in verbose mode. I cannot see a way to make the...
Can you expand on this statement please: "Placed the NVMe driver in UniBeast USB/EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.11 this enabled the OS X installer to see the drive and allow me to install."
I just bought an Intel 750 Series AIC 400GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 MLC Internal SSD today. I updated the BIOS on my...
Running an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 with 2MB of RAM. Never had a problem with the native detection and use of the card. What benefit(s) do I obtain from installing the Nvidia drivers? Speed?
Thanks in advance.

Neil,
I must be missing something here. I followed your directions, but when I reboot I only get to a non-Chameleon boot screen where I have a choice to boot either my first or second RAID array disk:
hd(0,3) OSX
hd(1,3) OSX 2
(Note that it named my second raid member OSX2). Is there a step...
Neil,
When Apple releases an incremental update, say 10.9.1, will I have to repeat the process to create the RAID-0 disks after applying the upgrade? Or will it apply uniformly to both the disks in the array?
I'm trying to understand the level of effort, both now and in the future, to...
No audio after upgrade to 10.8.3.
Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 with Realtek ALC889. Successful upgrade to 10.8.3 via combo update. Then used MultiBeast 5.2.1 with UserDSDT and Realtek ALC8xx/With DSDT/ALC889. This runs until the end, and finishes with "The installation failed" error.
After reboot the...
Yes, I fixed it. The problem was a Roswill all-in-one card reader that was plugged into the motherboard. That was what was causing the wakeups. After disconnecting it, sleep occurs with no problems.
LESSON LEARNED: unplug everything until you get to the root cause.
Re: Guide: GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 with ATI 6870 - Clean Lion Install
I'm running Bios 9, and cannot get sleep to function. My Hack goes to sleep, then almost immediately wakes up. I then see this in the /var/log/kernel.log:
Wake reason: HDEF EHC1
So...how to I stop the USB and audio from waking my...
UPDATE: Found this in the kernel log after a failed sleep session:
Nov 14 09:00:07 Mac-Desktop kernel[0]: Wake reason: HDEF ethernet EHC1 (Network)
Is this ethernet, sound, or USB-related?
Here is the hibernation completing, then the wake:
