[GUIDE] Injection of AMD Vega Power and Fan Control Properties

@jaymonkey I put together a small python script to handle the merging of the VGTab Info.plist's aty_properties into the config.plist's Devices -> Properties. Feel free to use it if you find it helpful. If not, no worries! The script can be found here: https://github.com/corpnewt/VGTabMerge...

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

Hey man, glad you like it. I just pushed a bunch of commits today to make some things easier/more flexible. Working on an extensive guide for the whole process as well (as it seems to overwhelm a number of users), but that's been taking longer than I'd like to admit... Either way, glad my...

    Thread 0 crashed error

Have you set up your BIOS for OSX? If your USB is for sure set up correctly, and your BIOS are set correctly, then it might be a hardware problem. Does everything else run as it should?

    Thread 0 crashed error

Hmm.... I read through the config, and it's pretty vanilla. Nothing looks wrong/out of place. Maybe try pulling out your dedicated GPU and using your iGPU and see if you can get to the installer? If that doesn't work - I wonder if the USB installer is damaged/incomplete.

    Thread 0 crashed error

Hmm... From what I've seen, when it crashes this early in a boot (see "Mac OS version: Not set yet"), it is usually a hardware issue. Often it's due to a CPU being incorrectly faked in Clover. Your 4770K should have no issues running El Cap - but would you mind checking your config.plist for...

Reboot Loop with ga-z170mx gaming 5

Hey man - turn off your Serial Port in BIOS.

    Hang on boot.

Hey bud, you'll want to add all your hardware to your profile - there are more parts in your rig than just your motherboard. Also - it wouldn't hurt to list the "multiple bios options", as I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Try verbose booting, and take a picture where it hangs then...

[solved] Lenovo z50-70 audio and battery

Hey man - I think you should probably post this in the Laptop forum, I doubt you'll get much support on the desktop side of things ;)

Stuck in reboot loop El Capitan.. Looks like a "Panic"

IO port or Serial port? I'm not 100% sure if there's a difference, but I've never seen disabling an IO port referenced to fix this issue. I'm on Haswell though, so I might be wrong! As for the prohibited sign - boot verbose and see what output you get, then take a picture of the whole screen...

    update 10.11.15 prohibited logo - Gigabyte Z97x-gaming 5

By your image - you don't have either of the OsxAptioFixes installed? You'll want to grab a copy of OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and place it in the drivers64UEFI folder shown in your image, then see if you can boot further.

    El Capitan Boot Issues

Hey man - that last line is "Still waiting for root device..." - make sure you're using a USB 2.0 slot (preferably on the back of your machine, connected directly to the mobo's back panel). If that doesn't work, try every USB port you have and see if you can get further.

    El capitan install issues

Sounds like the EFI on your SSD is missing something that the USB has. I'd double-check that you have that established. From a quick look through your hardware, the kexts you'd need are: FakeSMC.kext - this one's an essential RealtekRTL8111.kext - for LAN For your ALC892 - there's a number...

    update 10.11.15 prohibited logo - Gigabyte Z97x-gaming 5

Ahhh, the dreaded OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi error - it looks like you're using fix 1. Have you tried using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi? You'd just need to swap them out on your EFI partition (/Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI after you've mounted it). You don't want to have both fixes in there at...
