Should I update Mavericks to 10.9.3? If so/not why? Future references too!

Hi! Today, I saw that there was an update for Mavericks onto 10.9.3. Should I take the update? Here are some questions I want to find out the answer to: If I update will it break the hackintosh? Should I update to 10.9.3? Should I wait for any experts to test it out? Where can I find people to...

CPU Panic in my first Hackintosh

Maybe it's the RAM and Hard Drive/SSD not being installed correctly?

Bad CPU or MOBO? Something stinks here.

If that solution worked fully then... GOOD JOB! However, I suggest not updating or flashing your BIOS too much as it could cause it to malfunction. You don't want to screw it up PERMANENTLY. Better safe than sorry!

I might look into the Nvidia GT 640, heard pretty good reviews of it.

    MSI X58M (MS-7593 v1.0) with ATI Radeon HD 5450 Working 10.9.2

Thanks! You solved my problem. I had flickering/jittering Safari and lots of other applications, it was all solved by those genius modified kexts, even though I have a patched DSDT! Well eternally grateful for your help Anthony1017!

Works! Thanks so much! Had that annoying problem for a while now. Now I can enjoy going back to Safari and viewing everything without getting Epilepsy, if I had any. I shall go on his post to thank him too! Thanks you 2! :P

Thanks Adrian B. I will try the kext method in a minute, hope it works! :) And I thought that this 5450 was just a little old now, but what can I say? £25.95 from Amazon! Cheap indeed! Do you have any cards that are under £100, run well as a hackintosh mavericks and more powerful in mind...

Mac OS X Mavericks Safari, Launchpad, Mail and lots more are flickering lots!

Flicker, flicker, FLICKEH!!! Also, Apple related downloads seem to be affected too! I opened something from the Mac App Store and it showed the same flickering syndrome!

Is Intel Pentium Dual Core E5800 Processor enough for a budget Hackintosh?

Yes. I would say go for it with a minor adjustment. Try getting something a bit better than an Intel Pentium as they don't work that well (past experience :D) And yes again! xD RAM is essential for any computer to run fast and to run well as applications need that memory to boot up and be able...

Mac OS X Mavericks Safari, Launchpad, Mail and lots more are flickering lots!

Hi. I sort of need a problem for you clever people to solve for me. I have a Mavericks 10.9.2 version and I used the download off Mac App Store to create a Unibeast USB. It has installed perfectly with no kernel panics or anything. I used Multibeast to download: EasyBeast Realtek Without DSDT...
