Happy to help if I can....
What is your ig-platform-id set to? Mine is 0x059120003
And what about the IntelGFX on the devices tab? Mine is set at 0x059128086
See if that makes any difference....
Struggled with this for several days and finally got it working. I took the AppleGVA.framework from 10.14.0 and put it into my 10.14.2 clean install. I now have all DRM functionality back for iTunes, Netflix, etc. But this seems to be a short term fix....when Apple updates to 10.14.3 I'm sure...
Did a clean install of Mojave and Clover....easiest process yet. Two questions...
1) After moving to Mojave I'm seeing a noticeable bump in performance. My RX 580 is showing 160 FPS (Previous 138) on Cinebench, BruceX exports in under 10 seconds (previous about 16 sec) and my Geekbench CPU...
Interesting....so in your opinion, I would be better off having a NAS that supports a 10GB connection and putting a 10GB NIC in my mac? Rather than doing multiple 1GB connections with LAG?
My ultimate goal is to speed up Time Machine backups.......the NAS is sitting right next to my Mac and...
Thanks for the reply. Was hoping to identify a 1Gb card since neither my NAS or network support 10Gb. The NAS is a Synology 918+ and has dual 1Gb links.
Looks like the macOS supports link aggregation (LAG). I wanted to install a secondary NIC in my Coffee Lake Hackintosh and increase the throughput to a small NAS device. I see several discussions about PCI NIC's but none of them are very recent. Anybody got a suggestion for a 1Gb PCI network...
I have the same exact issue with nearly identical hardware. Posted a similar question awhile back with no reply. I don't have the answer, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone.
Thanks to all for the discussion.....I think I finally got it.
Went over my config.plist and discovered I "fat fingered" one of the HEX settings. Fixed it and I now get exports consistently at 16 seconds.
Appreciate all the help!
The RX580 doesn't seem to activate at all in FCPX but hey, prior to this thread, I couldn't export anything so I'll take it. Just make sure I didn't miss anything.
I did run Cinebench after making these changes and my Cinebench score went up almost 60 points. Prior to this I was at...
This was very helpful to me as well, thank you. My only question is that FCPX does not seem to be using the GPU for anything.....when I render or share a video the CPU goes to 100% but the GPU fans never move and GPU load is near 0. Previous to this thread I could not export anything so what I...
