Thank you i found it. I put the file in my ktexts folder and it did not work. I still get the UPS error. Is there another step that needs to be done after i add the file to my ktext?

I figured it out. I wanted to post my solution in case anyone else ran into this issue. For my configuration I had to disconnect the extra SSD drive from the motherboard that I had. Once I did that, I was able to install macOS. For some reason having an extra drive connected to the MoBo caused...

Thank you! I Thank you! I tried 2 different flash drives. Both sandisk, i may just go buy a brand new one and try again. I do have another M.2 and SSD that i tried and got the same result. Maybe I'm unlucky and the USB drives I have are junk. It's possible... they are a few years old.

Yes, firmware is F5 The installer boots up i get the macOs utilities screen I use disk utility and Format=APFS and Scheme=GUID Partition Map and Erase. no errors. I am able to open the installer log enclosed is a picture.

Hi Thanks for replying, I did that as instructed and it did not work. I used Catalina 10.15.6 (19G2006) should i have used Big Sur instead?

Yep, i was using the Catalina installer 15.5, should i try and make a Big Sur USB installer?

Thank you so much for these amazing instructions. I followed the instructions everything checked out until i got to the OSX install part. I formatted my m.2 with disk utility and when i went to install on my drive it just kicked me back to the initial OSX screen. Has anyone seen this error...
