    AMD Radeon Navi GPU

VideoProc looks for "AMD" in the GPU name. Change the Name to something with AMD and it will be displayed. It's just cosmetics tho.

Thanks for the input. As of now it seems like it is not doing any harm and makes the GPU info of system profiler look a little closer to a real mac. If some issues arise in the future I will remove it.

New RadeonBoost version. Now it's a codeless kext.

It's because X86PlatformPlugin uses the iMacPro1,1 profile in that case which is for the Xeon CPUs in the iMac Pro. You have to use CPUFriend + Data Provider to inject the proper power management data for your CPU. I created one based on iMac19,1 power management data for you. Put it in your EFI...

It's not better to use iMac19,1. iMacPro1,1 or MacPro7,1 is the way to go for any cards that are supported for video acceleration on macOS. Anyhow, issue is not caused by my kext. Works just fine with the RX 5700 XT.

    Why would you do that?

    AMD Radeon Navi GPU

@jaymonkey If you closer inspect the Geekbench results you will notice that just some of the sub-tests score higher. So it's very specific workloads that do benefit. On my Hackintosh I do observe slightly higher maximum and minimum framerates in Valley when using RadeonBoost. In BasemarkGPU the...

    AMD Radeon Navi GPU

New version with support for RX590 and Vega Frontier. @Leesureone I had someone else test it with OpenCore and it did work fine for him. Issue seems to be on your end.

Both info.plist and the executable are necessary, otherwise it won't work. Besides of that I can't help you with OpenCore issues. I only use Clover. Edit: Btw, can you drop a link to the SSDT of mattystonnie? I have never heard of that guy before and he started accusing me of stealing his work...

Now add a nice PowerPlay Table overclock to the card and see your scores going through the roof :headbang:

Is that with or without an overclock?

    Did your score improve?

    AMD Radeon Navi GPU

Correct, no need to use Adder framebuffer. The kext adds Adder's properties to the RadeonFramebuffer which should result in the same Geekbench score increase. Google for "rx 5700 xt powerplay table generator" and you will find it ;) PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable, PP_DisablePowerContainment...

    AMD Radeon Navi GPU

I have now built a Kext based on Brumbaer's property injector which does the job for Radeon VII, RX 5700, RX 5700 XT, Vega 56, Vega 64 and RX580. All it does is injecting the framebuffer properties of the Apple counterparts of the mentioned PC graphics cards. If you want additional properties or...

You didn't understand me. Check AMD10000Controller to find the additional device properties for Araguaia. Inject those to your card. No need to actually use the Araguaia framebuffer. Using the additional properties is enough to get the boost. Just inject them to your card along your PPT like...
