Does anyone think that the new Nvidia cards will cause any problems on a currently operational Hackintosh? I'm planning on upgrading to a GTX 1060 but don't want to screw up my working system. I currently use a GTX 760 for reference. What are your opinions?

I would say your RAM is a bit overkill. I would only go with 16GB and put the money toward that i7. And you might want to hold off awhile until you can get your hands on one of the newly released Nvidia GTX 1060's. They are $250 USD which will be roughly the cost of the card you picked out but...

Since you are a owner of a Hackintosh, you do not have an Apple certified computer with an actual model number. So you must have access to an actual Mac to do the Yosemite installation. Check out the home page on how to do that. Good luck! :D
