New EFI for MSI H310M Pro VH

Sorry that EFI is for newer 8th gen boards. Though the ACPI patch with appropriate AptioMemoryFix should work.

Update to latest BIOS and try this EFI with the appropriate kexts. Though mostly just the ACPI patch is necessary. https://github.com/SuperNG6/MSI-B360-10.14.5-EFI There is basically a patch that fixes the BIOS issue with MSI boards which is referenced here...

ive been struggling with my UHD630 i3 8100 on H310 ... everything works almost except DRM ... I guess getting RX 560 or better might solve this but those GPUs are no longer available here and the 560 or 570 is very pricey ....

Also I have an ASUS 610 lying around. It should work in high sierra right ? if that solves the DRM issue it could be enough. But I never got it to work in High Sierra, it always glitched. I even tried reflashing the BIOS on it but I got dangerously close to bricking it when it wouldnt display...

there are new updates upto 17 btw. But as people have suggested, if you dont want to break your hackintosh dont update.

Ah sorry for late reply. Did my EFI work ? The new bios does have issues, but the EFI I have uploaded works now for Mojave. I don't have a discrete GPU so no idea how to get that to work.

I could pick up an Rx570/80 which I can use for gaming too but I wanted to take up the challenge of getting the IGPU to play DRM ... Tried 60/61 shiki, both didnt work. I think I need to do more research on this since it maybe my board since its a low end board and a non Z chipset. Anyway thanks...

Is there a special trick to get DRM working on UHD 630 with Safari HTML5 , streaming Netflix or Prime? I don't have this board, but have acceleration with an 8100 and H310. Cant get DRM to work no matter what I try, but everything else works so far. I am not using shiki bootflag I think and...

Look for an itx board with displayport. I think there is an H310 Msi itx motherboard with displayport and a wifi slot and m.2 pci 2.0 (get an m.2 sata for that slot makes cable management in that tiny case easier and costs roughly the same). Anything Non-Z may need framebuffer connector patches...

Update : OSxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi seems to get me a boot currently. So anyone with BIOS issues may want to try that. I removed free2000 from the EFI above and also AptioMemoryFix.

I have MSI H310M Pro VH motherboard and have been trying to get Hackintosh working on it and so far things have been tricky. Firstly since its an H310 motherboard with only HDMI and VGA to work with, had trouble getting connector patches to work properly (little glitchy still but working on it...

VGA works fine without patches and HDMI displays output after patches, hence I believe patching is not really enabling HDMI.

How did you get DRM to work with this ? I used connector patches, and DRM is having issues, I think internally it still thinks its VGA or something, because I think this breaks sleep/wake too ... I may need to try something to get HDMI port work as HDMI, else no DRM, no Netflix.
