[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Really? I'm not sure it's that easy to deal with Iris Plus 655 in Sierra. My experience tells me it's hardly possible.

NUC8i5 in terms of specs looks like MacBookPro15,2 - A1989 - 3214 with High Sierra 10.13.6 minimum os supported. NMHO it's unlikely that anyone will be able to install Sierra on it.

HDMI and DisplayPort connectors are digital only and as every direct digital output has no volume control in macOS.

If someone uses your setup sequence he boot mac os normally, but lose some NVRAM functionality. Clover may use real UEFI NVRAM or emulated one. Then EmuVariableEfi driver installed NVRAM is emulated and Clover need some data transferred from/to system. rc.local and rc.shutdown.local scripts are...

You are mistaken here. Since you all use post #901 which has EmuVariableEfi driver then installing rc scripts onto boot drive is mandatory. The easiest way to install rc script is to use clover installation.

AptioMemoryFix.efi is a special driver designed to correct the incorrect memory map that AMI AptioEFI created, otherwise OS launch is not possible. Generally AptioMemoryFix calculate best value of slide=xxx automatically, but sometimes it's faults. OsxAptioFixDrv.efi not so smart as...

slide=0 is barely used since clover rev. 1887 'cause it's adds automatically if needed. My config work without it.

Guys who had this error, please replace AptioMemoryFix.efi to OsxAptioFixDrv.efi (it is a one of Clover 5070 drivers) and give it a try. It may help.

You did everything right. But as i mentioned before, sinetek kext doesn't fix the status bar, it just add the ability to use SD slot for read/write data from/to sd-card. If kext works you should see info about card reader in System Information under Hardware/PCI. (see screenshot in my post #1,256)

OK, let’s do it from scratch. Boot into OS X. 1) Double check that you have 100% bootable clover version on your USB flash drive. 2) Mount USB drive EFI partition via Clover Configurator (CC) and copy EFI folder to Desktop. Unmount USB EFI partition via CC. 3) Mount EFI partition from SSD via...
