If you want to use the original power supply case, all you have to do is choose a power supply that has a fan on top of it, open the case, remove the fan and fit the new guts to the old case. You would have to pass the power wire thru somewhere if you don't want to do soldering.

Or you could install the graphics card on the bottom, make a hole under the motherboard and print a shroud to make sure the graphics pulls air from under the motherboard.
That would also give you the opportunity to print something :headbang:

How about a third one? You stack the 3 of them and you get your mac mini cube. You could print the backing to close the case. Heck, you could install the graphics card vertically and even install a pico psu inside!
What I had in mind was installing the graphic card under the one already modded, removing the metal part in the graphics case allows to remove the plastic with the apple logo. Then I would make a hole in the lower part of the other case ( the one with the motherboard in it). Doing so would allow...
Ok! You are doing this now! Nice! Will you let us see that? You could also use 1050TI from evga, it's 5.7 inches (148mm) long and it doesn't require a power wire.
