Well yes - but you need Opencore 0.7.4/5 first.
Here is the EFI that i have used when upgrading from Big Sir to Monterey. It is OpenCore 0.7.5
This is Work In Progress!
- USB does not work well yet - only the few USB2's
- Wifi does not work with this
- Boot time is 3 minutes♂️…clearly...
Hi guys,
thanks for this. Have exact same Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX - but with 10700KF.
Struggled with a Monterey install. But using this EFI (1st post - and my own serial) I am now running Big Sur.
So that is a good start
@PREngineer - Have you had the chance to upgrade to Monterey...
It worked on my Z170 (I chose Gigabyte Z370).
I had to add kext for network and audio afterwards. But other then that it seems fine :)
Now waiting for HackinDROM to update me to 0.7.4 or 0.7.5 so I can get to Moneterey...(I can only install 0.7.3 in the tool right now)
Update 26-SEP-2020 For the record:
I will be happy to help (=share) on OpenCore 0.6.1 for the "same old" hardware...But NOT the Clover approach anymore.
Thanks for understanding
