This one is already solved by using the latest AppleALC+Lilu kexts with layout id=12 injection.

It works like a charm.

I completely gave up on Catalina, was able to install it but failed to boot the OS. I could have had a better luck with Mojave coz I had the pleasure to boot with acceleration despite the glitches. I'm running hd 620 from Asus X542UQ laptop.

Off topic here but that won't definitely work. You have to download Clover and install it as your USB bootloader. You won't do away booting it as well without the kexts especially FakeSMC.kext which is included in Clover installation.

Sorry for not indicating that my laptop has a discrete Nvidia GPU and I'm trying to disable it is all.

All other needed SSDTs compiled flawlessly but I'm having these errors in SSDT-5. I've never tried applying any patch as per guide.

Thanks for the quick fix, guess I'll ignore the warnings for now and compile. I'll try to build iasl from sources as well later.
