    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Was trying to upgrade from latest Ventura to Sonoma but download from system settings would not go saying "This update cannot be installed on this computer". Solved by using RestrictEvents kext (it was anyway enabled) and added revpatch=sbvmm to boot-args

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

A little bit of history: the very first installation of macOS Monterey 12.1 on slot 2 drive never resulted in KP, and, with network cable connected to 10Gb, sleep-wake worked OK. After that, I was mainly using Win 11, updating BIOS regularly, and the other day also updated Intel ME from...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

I have an update on the issues. I think moving ssd from slot 2 to slot 1 helped with previous crashes. I have been running for 2-3 hrs already and machine seems to be stable. Also, moving ethernet cable from 10Gb to 2.5Gb fixed instant wake from sleep issue.

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

And I noticed, that Sleep stopped working properly: first screen turns off, machine turns off and then machine instantly wakes while screen remains turned off, and the screen wakes to keyboard or mouse. EDIT: Unchecking -wake for network access in Energy Saver did NOT solve sleep issue. EDiT...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

It crashed after about 1hr with the different problem. But I don't know what caused it as I was away from the machine. However, after the below KP, I have been running machine for more then 1hr and no crash yet. Seems moving from slot 2 to slot 1 and moving ethernet cable from 10Gb to 2.5 did...

I moved macOS installed NVMe SSD into slot 1 from slot 2. Now testing to see if KP happens. Previously, it happened after about 10-15 minutes.

Yes, all similar. One of users said that switching NVMe SSD to slot 1 helped. So I did the same. Mac OS ssd was in slot 2. I will watch Mac OS behavior and get back with the result.

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Any ideas with the below issue and how to solve it. Started to get random kernel panics resulting in auto restart. Same build except GPU is Radeon RX 6600XT, now installed version Monterey 12.6.2. Mac OS is installed on WD Black SN860 500Gb M.2 NVME After the restart I get the below report...
