AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

I currently have the same placement, wifi then gfx. Would changing it up help? My current bios options are set to Automatic. Should I try some of the other gens?

Sorry, mistype on my part. The Wifi is already in a PCIe x 1.

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

This is already my set up, with the GPU (PCI) as primary, with both displays connected to it. I do still have my previous Nvidia card, but switched to AMD due to a lack of Nvidia drivers for Mojave, a situation which (unless I'm mistaken) hasn't changed? Since I'm running my dispays exclusivly...

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

So far, tried all the driver options (one at a time, uninstalling the old, installing the new) available in Clover Configurator: AptioMemoryFix OsxAPtioFixDrv OsxAPtioFix2Drv OsxAPtioFix3Drv OsxLowMemFixDrv None seem to make it passed boot with iGPU enabled in bios. Are there some options I...

Got it. Updating my OS backup now, then on to the trial and error. Will update.

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

WEG and Lilu have already been installed and in use prior to this error. I'm currently working through this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/an-idiots-guide-to-lilu-and-its-plug-ins.260063/#WEG But it seems to require the that my iGPU be enabled for the proper configurations to be...

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

Tried both of these, After Effects error still persists. Looks like I need to go hard core at trying to get past boot with the iGPU enabled, then work on getting it to play nice in a headless fashion. Any help in either of those directions is most appreciated, and thanks for sticking with me...

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

I've been doing some template bashing, and was working with this guy: https://videohive.net/item/be-unique-logo-reveal-golden-egg/15197564. By no means suggesting you purchase it just to try this out, but this one does seem to be the source of my issues. The effects I've encountered thus far are...

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

Thanks. It's been a pretty stable build up to this point, thanks in large part to this forum and it's excellent search options. My searches hadn't yielded anything fruitful, so I posted here hoping somebody else might have encountered something similar recently (since the issues stem from the...

Excellent, can definitely give this a try. Any recommendations or just trial and error till something sticks?

I originally had iGPU disabled as it always caused a hang up on boot in previous OS versions. Looks like that's still the case. Enabling iGPU causes the attached hang. I can't seem to find anything in my .config that would cause this.

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

Looks like my iGPU was already deactivated in Bios, so I don't think that's it.

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

That's an interesting idea. If i deactivate them in Bios, will it switch over the RX 580?

AMD RX 580 Adobe issues Mojave

Hi all! I recently updated my Adobe CC to all the latest versions, and decided to take After Effects for a spin. Opening up a project I've been working on, I keep getting an error stating "a failure related to GPU-enabled effects.....likely because your GPU is out of memory". (see attached)...

AptioFix boot error after 10.12.6 update

Wow. So while digging through my bios, I thought something looked fishy in my boot order. Looks like I've been trying to boot of the main drive in UEFI, when I've historically had success/have been using Legacy. The boot order must have got scrambled last time I tinkered with adding drives...
