I have a brand new EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 220-G2-0750-XR 80+ GOLD and still get these random restarts. It is the only thing that is competing my Hackintosh experience from being awesome. I think it is a hardware problem, but very hard to diagnose.
I have got the same issue with random restarts and it is very frustrating and tough to diagnose. I do believe my problem is caused by hardware of some kind as I have reinstalled Mac OS Yosemite and still persists. I think it is a RAM problem, but all my modules test fine using Memtest. Wish I...
I am having alot of trouble getting the wireless driver to work in windows using the Apple BCM94360CD card. I have tried boot camp and for some reason in device manager it shows the card, but with a yellow mark on it. Then I don't see the wireless networks or any wireless device. Any ideas...
When I chose the last option (boot from Efi) the cursor just blinks and windows does not boot. I also don't have an option that says Boot Windows EFI from EFI? Any ideas?
I am happy to go back and reinstall windows in UEFI mode. How do I do that exactly. I am installing windows on a different hard drive than my Yosemite is on. Thanks for any additional info.
Thanks for the response. I have 4 windows boot options in clover menu as the two below are just duplicated. See diagram below.
1. Boot windows from EFI
2. Boot windows from legacy HD1

I am getting the same random restarts and would love to know what is causing this. Could it be something hardware or more of a software problem. I tested all of my RAM and it came back working fine. I have Yosemite installed. Appreciate any help on this topic.
My system does the same thing and restarts randomly. I would love to get to the bottom if what is the problem. Any more suggestions would be much appreciated.
I am having exactly the same problem and can't figure out if it is hardware or software. It does not happen as frequent when I only use WiFi and disconnect my ethernet cable. Let me know where you are at with this problem.
I am using a Logitech C920 on my Hackintosh for Skype, facetime and Audio calls. The person on the other end keeps complaining about an echo when I am talking to them via facetime or Yosemite's new audio call feature. I am guessing this is because the Webcams audio feature is very sensitive...
I am pretty certain that my problem is Google Chrome. I have been using Firefox exclusively for 2 days and no shut downs. Therefore I am hoping that chrome was my problem. Firefox actually feels just like Chrome, therefore I am very happy to use it. It does not have Google voice extension...
Here is how it all worked out: I used the free version of carbon copy cloner to clone my Kingston SSD to my new Samsung Evo SSD. I then kept both drives connected and tried to boot from my Samsung, but it would not let me. I rebooted back into my Kingston drive, installed clover on my new...
