*[Success-ish] i7 4790K, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950, Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI - El Capitan 10.11.2, Clover Unibeast
Thanks for sharing your experience with the GTX 950. I just installed one using DVI and was looking for advice about the KP. Looks like I'll be using HDMI for a bit.
Updated from the App Store. Now my system hangs about one third of the way across the blue progress bar. Tried restarting with – X and – V but all I get is an auto reboot after all the extensions load.
Thanks for taking the plunge first. Worked great updating my existing install following your lead. Everything but iMessage works, but that hasn't worked for a while under 10.9.?.
Updated to Mavericks from 10.8.5 on a CustoMac Mini 2012. Just had to replace FileNVRAM-1.1.2 to get iMessage working. AirPlay works fine. I'd never gotten it to work previously. Facetime also works.

You will need a wired keyboard and mouse for installation. After everything is up and running, you can pair a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but they don't function until the OS has completely booted.
Edit: also of note, bluetooth occasionally goes wonky and won't work for a couple of restarts...
Sleep works great. I'm on the "H" motherboard, so I can't vouch for the "Z" you have listed in your profile.
The only issues I seem to have are a weird resolution thing on startup with my 720p TV that goes away after a quick sleep/wake and I am not able to Airplay to my 720p Apple TV.
Plug HDMI into bottom port on motherboard and connect to TV/monitor.
Check BIOS for F2 version. If not, upgrade.
Reset your BIOS to optimized defaults.
Change BIOS settings to memory profile 2 (for faster speed)
Reformat drive.
Install from Unibeast.
Download appropriate DSDT and rename to...
Further testing reveals bluetooth on the H77N-WIFI is on the left antenna port when looking at the rear of the motherboard. Disconnecting the antenna causes keyboard/trackpad disconnects or tracking problems.
