Basically I can't get then Nvidia web drivers to work. Which is normal at the start of a build.
Im running Sierra 10.12.3 I'm using NvidiaWeb and not using nvda_drv=1
Clover Configurator won't let me download drivers such as EmuVariable64 I get ERROR: You don't have permission to write here...
I have the right driver installed and in the upper right it even says that it is using Nvidia web driver.
However display still reads "Display 7mb"
I have tried installing the emu variable driver and still nothing
Also clover configurator was failing to download drivers. so I had to create a "drivers" folder in the EFI folder to get clover configurator to download the driver. But it still wasn't working till I put the driver from the new drivers folder to the Drivers64UEFI
I downloaded the correct driver for my system
It installed just fine.
restarted. It is using the default.
I put the emu variable driver in DriversUEFI64 folder & restarted
Nvidia says it is using the web driver but isn't.
I have NvidiaWeb=true
and I'm not using nvda_drv=1
I have dual boot system
2 drives one windows one OS X
Clover seems to have disappeared on startup and the machine boots directly into windows 10
any idea on how to get clover bootloader back so I can choose which system to boot into?
@pastrychef thanks for the help. I sadly don’t have a way of doing that.
I built the system 2 years ago so I’m not up to par on everything.
I’m not sure I’m using the correct USB.
Is there a guide on creating a bootable clover USB that I can do with a new USB drive? As a final attempt...
So I have two separate hard drives in my machine. One for Windows the other for my Hackintosh. I use clover to boot into either one.
I got a virus on the windows machine. Got rid of virus, and Windows machine works fine again.
HOWEVER. When I boot up the computer it boots straight to Windows...
I switched from audio layout id from 1 to 11 that seemed to help but I don't know if I would mark it as solved.
I followed your guide. That fixed the "no audio devices found" problem but left me with an audio/video playback issue getting stuck at 0:00.
I downloaded appleALC.kext and lilu.kext...
