It's time for OS 11 i think. OS X is starting to get a bit long in the tooth if you ask my opinion. The foundation of the mac environment is great but a major cosmetic update is needed in my opinion. I have many genuine mac/Hackintosh and Standalone Windows Machines and servers. I spend a lot of...
Confirmed Pro Audio Interfaces & Drivers - Mac OS X
I have a NI Traktor Audio 10. Works a treat. FYI - with most pro audio interfaces you can map system audio to an output on your interface using Soundflower. I find setting it up this way minimises processing noise you hear with onboard audio.

Not too bad with EVGA GeForce 560Ti.
Did it a 1920x1080 in a sandbox. I've got a 30" cinema display and at 2560x1600 it was pretty weak.
Hey Macman,
Any Chance you can put support for up to 2560x1600 resolution into Chimera. The highest available res is 1600x1200 i think - Not a major issue i know. Was just unsure how easy it is to do.
Thanks.
Me too.
Repair permissions will fix it temporarily and then all of a sudden, Bang! have to boot with iBoot and fix it again.
I think I might do a reinstall and just use the update combined and bridgehelper.
Yeah you would have problems with 3.0 devices connected. And the slow boot is due to conflicts with the USB3 and 2 kexts.
If you disable USB3 the ports still work with 2.0 devices anyway. good enough for now
Confirmed - I get 14,800 or so with my 2600k running at 4.4Ghz. It seems I get no advantage going any higher with all auto settings - scores are lower at 4.6 and 4.8Ghz.
I'm pretty happy with these speeds anyway - much faster than I'll ever need. Not to mention my CPU idles at 26C 8-)
When...
awesome stuff. Running 34 multiplier with 46 turbo.
Had a few issues with booting up but all was fixed with a repair permissions.
Got macpro 3,1 smbios from insanelymac, not multibeast. (it has a more genuine feel with boot rom version and serial numbers), bridgehelper and minimum kexts in...
Yeah considering that too. at the moment I've just been using esata for large file transfers so it's not bothering me too much.
pretty sure there are some firmware updates for the reneses controllers too. worthwhile?? Dunno.
no offense, but if you need to keep your recovery partition then you shouldn't be attempting to install OS X on your PC.
First thing i do when i buy a new PC laptop is format it to remove the crap and remove any helper partitions to free up some space.
Try Macpro 3,1.
my geekbench scores went from 5000 to 15000
Also cooked up a DSDT with autopatcher. Seems to be ok so far. I know it's still not 100% but we are getting there with Sandy bridge.
