OK. Finally got touch working under OpenCore 7.3. Trackpad gestures not working with more than two fingers - but that is not that important to me as now my pen works :-).

Just an update. Things had been stable on this hack up until I upgraded to 11.3. (running opencore 0.6.5)
Now the USB 3 ports work but do not detect or power USB2 devices... and my brightness control is fubar'd - so have to use external HDMI monitor... It appears that there are problems on...

if you used my EFI within the ACPI folder there is a SSDT that enables the battery. I also have a battery sensor kext within the kext folder.
