With Radeon Vega coming out and same performances as the 1080 Ti, I'd rather switch to AMD right now. I was about to build a new computer with two GTX 1080Ti's, but without driver support under macOS, I'm basically lost as I use these GPU's a lot. Time to switch, my friends.
I'm kind of a power user too.
I've built my first and main computer a year ago (still my actual rig) with macOS, Windows and Linux.
Primary reason is that I can have a system with my chosen hardware, not outdated GPU's, processors, platforms etc and a way more powerful system for way less...
Basically no problem. I've just used a GTX 980 and the 6700K. What you have to do is install El Capitan 10.11.4 or later, use Unibeast 6.2 or later and set this in your bios:
LPT & COM off
Update to F6
Set Boot Clover as 1st boot option
Network Stack off
USB UEFI only
It's a DVI-D (I guess) to VGA. The screen works perfectly if I plug it after my CustoMac has boot, but not if it is already plugged, while another screen is plugged. on HDMI. DVI-D to VGA works perfectly all alone.
I'm kinda new here, but after intensively searching, I cannot find a solution to my problem.
I have built my own PC (Check my signature for specs), and everything works perfectly except two things:
- Onboard sound (not a big deal)
- the Nvidia Card
I installed the Nvidia...
