macOS High Sierra (10.13) takes 10 minutes+ macOS Sierra (10.12) taks less than 10 seconds. Update: I have since wiped my boot drive and restored my macOS Sierra install. Hackintosh functions 100% again, but I will continue experimenting with High Sierra; might try the HFS+ install.

Hi Stan, just this morning my machine started having this same problem. I had 10.12.4 running smoothly and updated to 10.12.5 and started getting kernel panics. I'll update this forum if I find a solution.
