Hmmmm, this is troubling to me. I have been furiously working on several "tech" issues as of late, NO CREATIVITY; NO MUSIC. :O I've JUST about got all issues resolved... and I have NOT updated to 11.4 yet (though it's not showing up in Software Update anyway). So I am wondering if I should when...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

FYI - I am using Sabrent Rocket 4.0 NVMe (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-1TB) and have no issues, and did not require any additional .kext files or adjustments. It just worked right away. Also worked perfectly for me, AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD 1TB (GP-ASM2NE6100TTTD). I was originally using these in my AMD...

Thank you @AlexD for posting your info. I too have a Sapphire RX580, but mine is the Nitro+ edition (and only 4GB), but it has been working great for the last several months. Only problem is it's just a bit too long for my small case and is ramming up against my 8 drive hot swap backplane board...

One more thing I just realized.... his BIOS profile COULD be where the corruption is. So with all the problems he has had and everything tried, I would NOT reload the saved profile. Go through the pain of setting everything manually. ;)

If those settings I have highlighted in red are different on his system, I would try my settings and see if they help. Different systems can be... very different. Also have him check his installed BIOS version. If nothing seems to solve his issue, as a last resort: Another thing I have had...

Also... if he is trying to use a sample rate that exceeds his system capabilities, such as 96k, that will happen. Have him test with everything set to 44 and see if the issues go away.

That sounds like possibly the hardware relay that is inside some of the UAD equipment. That switches when you change the sample rate, like from 44.1, 48, etc. You're asking about in macOS, but the following info I provided is about Windows  : You MUST match that rate with the Windows...

Thanks to all who posted replies on this issue. I figured out the problem; it was BIOS settings in "Advanced CPU Settings" (screen shot attached with working settings). I'm a long time ReasonStudios Reason user, and now am learning Universal Audio's LUNA (which is mind blowing!) FYI - You can...

Thanks for your reply. I bought my Apollo only a few months ago, and I made sure it was updated. There was a new one that came out recently, and then I rolled to that one. I believe I read all the docs/info before updating. What I do remember is that everything was ideal circumstances, and I...
