    Feeling pleased.

Well done. I hate change too, but OpenCore seems to be the path forward.

Now that Beta 2 is out, I will grab the nightly of OpenCore and try it when I have time. Occupied in the woodshop for now.

Big Sur Public Beta install on Asus Prime H370M-Plus

The entire EFI is attached. You will have to rename it and generate your own: SystemSerialNumber MLB SystemUUID By the time you use this, there will be significantly updated versions of OpenCore etc, but it may get you started.

    OpenCore 0.6 EXITBS:START (SOLVED)

Did you make your own files or use premade? Perhaps a screen shot of the error point (assume you are using OpenCore Debug).

    OpenCore 0.6 EXITBS:START (SOLVED)

I also had to clear NVRAM prior to booting OpenCore to clear out entries put in by Clover that OpenCore will not delete.

Big Sur Public Beta install on Asus Prime H370M-Plus

I thought I would share my successes (and challenges) with the public beta. Note: This is experimental and should only be done on a test drive and would be hard to do if you did not have another system or another drive to boot from. My method (worked for clean install and upgrade): Board...

Apple Previews macOS 11.0 Big Sur - Available Fall 2020

<< Solved >> Catalina Install = Prohibited symbol

Trying to install on my ASUS Prime H370-Plus. I am trying a clean install. Tried thus far: Pure unibeast burn and install...prohibited, generic SSDT-EC.aml to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched...prohibited, current working Mojave patched SSDT copied to the installer...prohibited, every USB port on the...

Apple Reveals macOS 10.15 Catalina- Available Fall 2019

Seems like every thread featuring an Apple OS update brings out the Nvidia issue. I have moved on. I like the OS, I like some of the features in Mojave and spent some money on keeping my rig up to date. Yea, I put a decent Nvidia card in the junk box and may stick it in a build for my kid...
